Dr. David Levine, UC Foundation Professor in Physical
Therapy, has received $18,025 from the Department of Health and Human
Services
(HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Dr. Levine will use the funds to provide scholarships for disadvantaged
students majoring in physical therapy in 2003-04.  The scholarships are
designed to cover tuition and fees, other academic expenses, and reasonable
living expenses.  The scholarship program assists UTC students from
low-income
families or disadvantaged environments to succeed in the Physical Therapy
program.

Congratulations Dr. Levine!  This scholarship program provides a vital
financial support for disadvantaged students interested in physical therapy.
