May 9 the East TN Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration
will host the annual Public Service Recognition Workshop and Awards
Luncheon.  This year the topic of the workshop is one that many of you may
be interested in: "California in Tennessee? The Impact of Utility
Deregulation on Economic Development."  The workshop is from 10:00-12:00;
at noon we will start the luncheon.  You are welcome to attend either or
both events. Both are being held in the UT Conference Center Building-4th
floor, 600 Henley St, Knoxville.   Reservations for the luncheon should be
