The next Chattanooga Writers Guild monthly meeting is just one week away:

When: Tuesday, June 11th, 2002, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Where: UTC Patten House (Faculty Club) (located at Oak and Palmetto on the
UTC campus)

Who: Dr. Joe DeGross will be the featured speaker; he will read from two
short stories that vary, stylistically, and discuss the process for writing
each.

After the reading, there will be time to talk with Dr. DeGross and time to
mingle with other area writers. As always, we will serve light refreshments.

Joe is a writer, editor, ethicist, and physician. He writes essays, creative
