The Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Minority Affairs would like
to congratulate Professor Roland Carter of the Music Department.  He is the
recipient of the Horace Traylor Minority Leadership Award for 1999 which
was presented at the Honors Day program on April 13.  This award recognizes
a faculty or staff member who has made significant contributions to or
provided support for minority student development at UTC.

Once again - congratulations, Professor Carter!
