While walking from Hunter Hall to Cadek this morning at 9:55, I noticed a
maintenance truck trying to back up and turn around. He was moving
PAINFULLY slowly and being very careful, so as not to hit anyone. At that
hour the intersection was teeming with students intent on getting to class,
and not paying a lot of attention to traffic on Oak.

Given all the talk of re-opening Vine, and some of the complaints which
have been voiced recently about maintenance vehicles "zooming past" I
thought I'd point out that at least one person knows how to do it right!

Hats off and Attaboy!

PS - he was successful.
