I bought a 512 MB RAM upgrade for my wife's computer, hoping to add it
to the 256 MB already installed for a total of 768 MB.
Unfortunately, her system will only operate with two sticks of RAM if
they are installed in matched pairs. It works fine with either the new
512 MB stick or the original 256 MB stick, but won't boot when both are
installed at once.
So -- I now have a used, but working fine, 256 MB RAM to sell, just in
case anyone's computer needs an upgrade. (This is from a personal
machine and not UTC property.)
Technical details: Infineon HYS64D32300GU-6-B module
256M (32M x 64) 184-pin PC2700 DDR 333 CL 2.5 non-ECC SDRAM
Will sell for $25 or best offer.
