According to State Representative Tommie Brown, UTC students are poor and dumb. I encourage everyone to please email or call the numbers below to help educate Mrs. Brown on what UTC is about. I wonder where her degree came from?

"They talk of my drinking, but never my thirst." --

Irish proverb.

"If there were no women, all the money in the world wouldn't mean
anything." -- Aristotle Onasis.

"Poor children -- that's who goes to UTC. When you start talking about the
best and the brightest, they're at Harvard, they're at Yale, they're at
Princeton, they're at Columbia University." -- State Representative Tommie
Brown, (D-Chattanooga).

Ouch. And she thought State Senator David Fowler had made an "insensitive
remark?"

For UTC students who'd like to get in touch with Representative Brown, they
can call her 756-6062, (615) 741-4374 or e-mail at
[log in to unmask]

She's probably not expecting too much from it since UTC students are too
poor to have computers or make a long-distance call and not bright enough
to figure out which of the above is the local phone number.

You can be bright and not GO to college. Private First Class Jessica Lynch
was smart enough -- and tough enough -- to stay alive in the Iraqi desert,
fighting off all those Iraqis who were trying to kill her, then surviving
her captivity until she was rescued in that hospital amongst the bodies of
her dead comrades.

Tough... bright -- yes. But she'd better not be trying to get into Lake
Winnie without an adult to supervise her. After all, she's only 20.

"If at first you don't succeed, you're about average." -- Anonymous.
