Dr. Thomas Ware of the English Department recently was selected by the
University of
Tennessee Press to review manuscripts for publication.  The UT Press called
upon Dr. Ware because of his extensive experience in reviewing and
preparing manuscripts for publication.  Dr. Ware has been instrumental in
the publication of several scholarly works including  _Theodore O'Hara,
Poet Soldier of the Old South_, a book which he co-authored.  Dr. Ware also
edited
a voluminous manuscript written by retired UTC Professor Dr. Joseph
Prescott.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Ware for his contributions to
scholarship.  Dr. Ware's professional service enhances his discipline and
brings recognition to the important contributions of UTC faculty.
