The Junior League of Chattanooga is raising money with a new fundrasier --
Apples for a Better Chattanooga! All you need to do is e-mail me @

The money is due by October 4, and the apples will be delivered the week of
November 8. Thanks in advance for your help with this worthy cause!!

The money goes to the programs that Junior League supports:

Childcare Resource Center -- provides resources, training and works with
with family daycare centers to promote quality care to children in our area;

Mini-Grants for Teachers in the primary and secondary public schools;

Partnership for Children -- provides education on the development and
medical services covering prenatal to age five;

Ronald McDonald House -- serves as a home away from home for families of
seriously ill children;

T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital;

Urban League -- provides job training and placement for individuals
desiring to enter the work force; and

Westside Community Partnership -- provides residents with parenting skills,
child care, medical care and job training as well as efforts to beautify
and maintain the Westside Playground and Garden.
