UTC Faculty and Staff,

I will be leaving UTC on January 2 to begin a job with the Hamilton
County Department of Education.

I did not want to leave without you knowing how much I appreciate your
support for this office over the past five years.  Your cooperation has
been essential to develop a strong office for students with
disabilities. Also, I would like to thank Dr. Mary Tanner for her
constant encouragement.

I have enjoyed my involvement with the Exempt Staff Council, Julia
Cronin, Chair of the Employee Relations Committee, Dr. Marvin Ernst,
Chair of Faculty Senate and the Chancellor's Executive Council.  These
groups are linked together with the common goal of making UTC a strong
and caring community.  I wish them much success in the future.
