My daughter's dog was hit by a car over thanksgiving. As of yet he can not
move too much but I am bringing him home to take care of him for a month.
The vet has a "floor grate" that is a large piece of criss-crossed vinyl or
PVC covered metal. I have searched the internet for such a device but can
only find it in professional vet supply stores (they will only fill large
orders). I am not wishful of putting "Chance" (the dog) on the flimsy floor
grate available at the local super stores. He may be immobilized for as long
as a month before all the swelling goes away and he needs to be on something
sturdy. Do any of you animal savers out there have a connection with someone
who would either lend or sell me such an item?

Stuart
