As Chair of the UTC Employee Relations Committee, I would like to 
join my colleagues in encouraging participation in this year's United 
Way campaign.  Our UTC families and the Chattanooga community benefit 
greatly from the services of the United Way agencies.  During the 
current campaign we have the opportunity to support these services 
that provide hope and encouragement in our community.  We can make a 
difference in many lives by joining together in this campaign.

To those who have not yet given, I hope you will consider making a 
contribution of any size either by direct donation or payroll deduction.

Keep in mind that you may choose to designate an organization of 
special meaning to you on the pledge card, but today is the United 
Way deadline to make that designation.  Please bring your pledge care 
to the Development House today in order to meet this deadline.

Watch for news regarding the annual United Way auction to be held in 
early December.  Frankie Roeser, Sue Stephens, and others are on 
track to have the best group of items assembled for our auction.  If 
you have any items to donate, please contact these folks.

Thank you for your consideration and support of such a deserving 
group of resources for our area.
