Faculty and Staff:

Dr. Kenyon Wilson will present a faculty recital this evening at
7:00, on the tuba! Though tuba recitals are not uncommon elsewhere,
we believe this is a FIRST for UTC.

Dr. Wilson is the principal tubist for the Augusta Symphony, has made
several CDs, and has earned many awards and honors, including a stint
as a Fulbright scholar last year in Eastern Europe. He is adjunct
here at UTC.

He will be accompanied by Alan Nichols, piano; David Butler, tuba;
and the UTC student Tuba-Euphonium ensemble with Dr. William R. Lee.
There will be a raft of great works performed, including pieces by
Jager, Grant, Zeynally, Ayers, Dr.  Wilson himself, and others.
