I agree with Roger.  The UTC snow line says regular hours, the radio and TV
stations are saying 9 am, and our web page says nothing!  I feel sorry for
the faculty and students with 8 am classes this morning, and all the staff.

In addition, during the last crisis, we knew that nothing was going to
change between 11 pm and 6 am, yet UTC did not announce until after 5 am
that it was closing.  I know that is necessary sometimes, but when we know
what the situation will be in advance, could we not announce one way or the
other at night?  We have faculty, staff, and students who drive in some
distance and must be up and getting ready by 5 am for an 8 am class or job.
