To All UTC Personnel

On behalf of the Student Government Association, I cordially invite you to
attend the 1999 SGA Outstanding Seniors Program on Wednesday, March 3,1999
at 4:00 p.m. in Patten Chapel.  The program recognizes seniors with the
highest grade point average within their respective majors.  This
celebration of scholastic achievement continues the efforts of the SGA to
enhance academic excellence within the university community.

Dr. Joe Johnson, UT System President, will serve as guest speaker for the
program.  The event will last approximately one hour and will be
immediately followed by a reception in the Shakespeare Garden.  Invitations
have been extended to the students, their parents and family members, and
members of the university community.  In addition, we have asked our
students to be honored to invite a favorite professor to be recognized.
These professors will have reserved seating behind the recipients and will
stand when they are recognized.

We hope you can join us for this ceremony to honor these students and their
successful efforts to attain an outstanding academic record during their
undergraduate programs.

We look forward to your sharing the afternoon of March 3rd with us.
