Dear Colleagues,
I would appreciate your announcing to your classes, if you can take the
time, that the women's studies program will be sponsoring a poetry contest
for UTC students this semester.  Please encourage your students to enter
this contest.  Details appear below:

Any UTC student enrolled this semester may pick up an entry form for the
4th annual women's studies poetry contest in the plastic bin to the right
of office 338E in Holt Hall.  Instructions for the contest appear on the
entry form.  The deadline for entries is Friday, March 1 at 5:00 p.m.
Three prizes will be awarded: First ($100.00), Second ($50.00) and Third
($25.00).  Winners will be announced and all participants will read their
poems at the Women's Studies Poetry Coffee House on Monday, March 25 at
8:00 pm. at the Stone Cup Coffee House (224 Frazier Avenue).
