Good Morning everyone!

Just a quick update on our Lakota Family from South Dakota:

They got in last night at about 8:00, and we got them settled in an motel
for the night. They were so thankful! Today John Anderson from CIRCL will
pick them up and take them to the Homeless Healthcare Clinic and hopefully,
from there, they will have a place to stay and put their few belongings
temporarily until something better can be obtained. At the moment, that's
their best option, as they will also receive health care and meals, and
transportation.

The children are just beautiful! Their ages are: 4, 2, and a baby (not
sure about the baby's age). Sandra is also about 5 months pregnant. Last
night when we arrived at the motel, and they began to get their things
out... Chris (the male traveling with the Redbear family) got out his
hand-made drum and squatted in the parking lot and played and sang a Lakota
song for us.... then before we left them, he asked if he might offer a
prayer of thanksgiving in Lakota for us and to the Creator for bringing
them here safely and taking care of them. I have to tell you, that it
really touched my heart. I gave Sandra some of the money that was
contributed by the faculty here and told her to use it for some breakfast
or things that the babies need, or whatever they might need and that it was
a gift from the UTC Faculty here, and she almost cried. She said to tell
you all thank you. I trust that all good things will come to this family now.

Thank you for your help and prayers and kind words. I'll continue to keep
you posted on how things are progressing.
