As I was reading the last Senate minutes minutes I was struck by the
following quote:
>In response to another question, Chancellor Brown expressed
>dissatisfaction with the current state funding formulawhich has only been
>funded at a 70% leveland with suggested revisions to this formula that
>favor research institutions.
The quoted passage brought to mind an answer I had earlier sent a colleague
who e-mailed to ask what the UTC motto "Faciemus" meant. I had written
that it meant "We shall do." However, it also means "We shall make." And
as we have seen again and again here at UTC, the motto very well may mean
"We shall make-do."
I hope those of you who have found me wanting in sense of humor for my
previous posting, will see that I do, in fact, have one.
