An organization of UTC and UTK staff and faculty that I am a part of has
been working on lobbying the Tennessee legislature for an across the board
$1200 raise, in addition to ensuring that no merit raises are given until
cost of living raises are met.

 

Next Wednesday, April 19 from 11-2 in the University Center's Lookout
Mountain room we will be having post cards that you can sign to send to
Governor Bredesen around the campaign's demand.  Here is another big reason
why you should come by-  we will be giving away a $50 gas card!  Again, here
is all the relevant info:

 

What:  Sign postcards and get more information on the 2006 Fair Raise
campaign-  and register to win a $50 in free gas!

 

Where:  University Center's Lookout Mountain Room, from 11 am -  2 pm.
