I am buying a house (YAY!) and scheduled to close on November 26th, if the
financing goes through. My landlord has said that if I find someone to take
over the lease on my apartment, he will not charge me the month's rent
penalty for breaking the lease. The specifics are:
2 bedroom, 1 bath, 1056 sq.ft. The landlord is Pete Austin, of Austin
Rentals, and he is an exceptional landlord. I can't say anything bad about
him, I've lived in his apartments for nearly 3 years and he's been great!
The apartment is a ground-floor, one level, new tile in the kitchen, laundry
room, and bath. It has a large eat-in kitchen with all appliances including
dishwasher, a nice sized laundry room with washer-dryer connections, and
(the selling point of the place!) a privacy-fenced back patio/yard area.
The bedrooms are very good sized, and Austin pays the water. The rent is
$479/month, and the only reason I'm moving out is because I'm buying a
house! It is situated only 8 miles from UTC on a quiet cul-de-sac off of
Norcross & Gadd Road in Hixson.
I will be moving out right after Thanksgiving, so someone could move in just
