The U.S. Department of Education recently invited Dr. Kathy Puckett to review
proposals for its 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program.  This
program was established to support students of rural and inner-city K-12
schools with educational, health, and social services and to address the
cultural and recreational needs of the community. School-based
community learning centers provide a safe, drug-free, supervised and
cost-effective after-school, weekend or summer haven for children, youth
and their families.

Dr. Puckett was chosen to be a reviewer from among a competitive pool of
qualified candidates.  Congratulations, Dr. Puckett on this honor.
