Year after year, we complain about the celebratory noise right in front of
the UC, which is also right in front of Brock. We must teach and learn
during our scheduled classes in Brock Hall, despite the homecoming, or
whatever, activities in whcih the student body at large engages. Could
those involved in planning and supervising these noisy activities, try to
put yourselves in our shoes? If you would, you would see the wisdom of
moving those activities West a half a block. That way, the students not in
class could enjoy the hubub, but those in our classes could benefit from
our lectures and other classroom activities.
Thanks for your future consideration.
