The Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Institutional Research is pleased
to announce that many of the most commonly used fall fourteenth-day student
and academic statistical reports (Fourteenth Day Stats) are now available
on our web page. With considerable effort on the part of Computing
Services, the following tables were attached to the Fact Book web site and
the OPEIR Home Page:
Teaching Load Profile by Department (TLP)
Geographic Summary
Ethnic Summary
Degree and Major Summary
Tables for the current fall semester are attached to the Fact Book site and
historical data for fall semesters 1993 through 2001 are found in the
"Stats Archives." The "Stats Archives" are linked to both the Fact Book
and the OPEIR Home Page. These tables are in the same format as the paper
version of the "Fourteenth Day Stats" that have been distributed to various
offices on the fourteenth day. All tables may be copied and downloaded for
desktop analysis.
Sheri Hawley, our Fact Book Editor and Web Manager, has also completely
revised the OPEIR Home Page. Easy access is provided to various on-line
data sources. Information on standardized testing offered at UTC and other
locations, as well as links to SAT, PRAXIS, ACT, and other major test sites
are found on the Testing Center page. Numerous links to the Testing Center
page are found throughout the UTC web site.
I want to express my sincere appreciation to Richard Gambrell, Glenda
Sullivan, and Sandra Steakley for their work in developing and linking the
'Stats files.' I highly commend Sheri Hawley for the layout and
development of the web pages.
