CALL FOR PROPOSALS
2003 Project SET (Sharing Educational Technology)
The Educational Technology Collaborative (ETC), a UT statewide
faculty-development initiative, aims to create a statewide community of
individuals with a shared purpose and interest in advancing the quality and
use of educational technology across UT.
The ETC is sponsoring Project SET (Sharing Educational Technology), a grant
opportunity that encourages applications from instructional resource
professionals, faculty, staff and graduate students who are interested in
creating web-based modules on topics related to using instructional
technologies in teaching practices. These modules will serve as
professional development opportunities for UT faculty members.
Award: Ten proposals will be selected and each will receive $3,000.
See website for details. One member from each module development team must
then attend a mandatory professional development workshop to be held
November 6-8, 2002 on the UT Memphis campus (travel expenses will be
covered).
Final Deliverable: One web-based instructional module that serves as a
professional development opportunity for UT faculty members on a topic
related to using instructional technologies in teaching practices.
Proposal Deadline: Monday, September 30, 2002 at 8:00 AM
Eligibility: Any staff member, faculty member or graduate student from any
of the University of Tennessee campuses (Chattanooga, Knoxville, Martin,
Memphis, and Tullahoma) may apply for Project SET funding. Graduate
students will need to obtain sponsorship from a faculty member or staff
supervisor.
