Dr. Larry Stokes has been awarded $23,601 by the United Parcel Service to
direct and coordinate a Community Intern Program.  This project offers UPS
managers new perspectives on social problems in communities serviced by
UPS.  To make the managers more fully aware of the nature of such problems,
they will be placed in various social service agencies, both public and
non-profit, and will be involved in classroom discussions.  Dr. Ed Cahill,
long-time steward of this project, will work with Dr. Stokes as a
consultant.
