Shane Porter, Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Athletic/Jazz Bands is second author for his first text book entitled MUSIC THROUGH TIME... AN APPRECIATIION OF MUSIC IN EUROPE AND AMERICA. The beauty of this book is that it is IT interactive in ways I do not even understand and allows for each instructor to customize lessons and music selections in thousands of different ways. 

On a personal note... I am so proud to have my friend here as my assistant.
