Dr. Stuart M. Benkert has been elected to the Marching Band Committee
(one of four committee members) for the National Band Director's
Association (NBA). NBA is the largest organization for band directors
in the world. Dr. Benkert, Associate Director of Bands and Director
of Athletic Bands at UTC, has made his mark on the band program at
UTC, and has been active nationally as a marching band clinician.
This national recognition is a source of pride for Dr. Benkert and
for UTC.
