Joe,
In an earlier a'message posted to RAVEN, you asked about a Fiscal note for
HB126/SB790. Such a fiscal note has been posted and can be found at
                http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/bills/currentga/Fiscal/HB0126.pdf
I was in Nashville all day yesterday meeting with half a dozen state
Senators and about as many Representatives. You may be happy to learn that
work on this bill is progressing nicely. It now has a sponsor from each
party in both houses.

BTW, in your last e'message on this topic you responded to PART of some
things I had written, but you seem carefully to avoid trying to explain how
the alleged short notice on this motion differed from even shorter notice
on the motion to oppose the opening of Vine Street which faculty senate
approved in October. Or why directing the secretary to send a message
about salaries to President Petersen and the Board of Trustees should
alienate them, especially when Senate did exactly that in October when it
voted to send a similar message to the Trustees and Governor Bredesen.

Fritz.
