For a short while Elsevier is offering free trial access
to the full ScienceDirect service "the most comprehensive STM
database on the Internet".  ScienceDirect provides access to the full
text of more than 1000 Elsevier Science journals at your desktop,
plus access to the abstracting and indexing layer which contains
abstracts from more than 3000 journals in material and life sciences.
For this free trial we appear to have access to the full text of
*all* Elsevier titles and not just those to which we subscribe in
print.
