The UTC Women's Studies program invites you to hear Professor Leila Pratt
of Economics speak on "Welfare Reform at 5."  The first of our brown bag
lunch presentations, this talk will be given on Wednesday, January 16 at
noon in the Ocoee Room of the University Center.  Cokes and Diet Cokes will
be available (while they last);bring your brown bag lunch and learn how the
welfare reform legislation enacted five years ago is performing.  What were
its objectives and have they been met?  What problems has the
implementation of this legislation brought about?  What are its strengths
and weaknesses?  Dr. Pratt will address these and other issues in her talk.
