The Tennessee Education Association is sponsoring a "Rally for Tennessee's
Future" in Nashville on Wednesday, May 1 from 5:30-7:15pm CDT. Participants
will gather on the War Memorial (Legislative) Plaza. People are asked to
bring a school bell (any bell) and have the option of posting pictures of
students on TEA's Wall of the Future. The Hamilton County Education
Association will be sending buses to the Rally. The buses depart at 3pm
EDT and will be leaving from several different downtown locations. There
are some seats available and, if you'd like to make reservations, please
contact Margha Davis (x2351) by April 26. If you would like to drive over
in your own car, parking will be available in the state employees' parking
lots around the Bicentennial Mall.
