Electricity used for lighting is a major contributor to the utility costs
for UTC. In light of present budget concerns, Facilities Planning and
Management requests that all members of the UTC Community make special
efforts to reduce electrical consumption by turning off lighting in
offices, classrooms, labs, theatres, etc. and other common spaces within
the limits of safe conditions, when the rooms are not in use.
