Oops! I forgot. Nick will not be here to dig on Friday. Please pick up
any that you called about by noonish on Friday. They will be dug.

However, yesterday we dug a little in one of my front beds and discovered
that we HAD TO DIG ALL THE DAY LILLIES out because they are practically
growing on top of each other. There is a mixture in this bed & I don't
know which is which: Golden Glows (very long blooming, good gold color),
double oranges with streaks of red (spectacular!), and some tall yellows
and maybe some apricots with rose eyes. We are digging the entire bed and
not replanting until next week. This is a chance for pot luck - but all
are very nice. Not to mention free.

I still know what some of the ones in the back that we dug are. If you
have called or e-mailed, I am saving those, but I have no more monkey grass
to give away at this time.

After about 5 pm on Friday, any that have not been picked up will be put
out on my verge under a sign that says: "Free flowers. Please Take."

Directions from UTC: Cross the Veteran's Bridge onto Barton. In about 5-6
blocks, bear left onto Hixson Pike. Turn up the hill at the second left
onto
Hanover Street. This is the corner between the Golden Gallon and Plum
Nelly/Margarita's across from the back of the Greenlife Grocery. We live in
the bad curve at the top of the hill: 1012 Hanover Street. Or: from North
Chattanooga's Frazier Avenue, turn left on Tremont (if you turn right, you
go into Coolidge Park), up hill to cross Mississippi Ave (where Tremont
turns into a newly paved barely one & 1/2 lane pig track down the hill) and
Hanover starts. We are on the right. Drive into our driveway. We'll be
glad to see you.
