Faculty, staff, and students looking for a good (and inexpensive) fun time can hear live jazz music every Monday night (except March 14 and May 2) at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre, 400 River St.  The Chattanooga Monday Night Jazz Band Orchestra, consisting of 16 musicians, plays standard tunes from the 1950s to the present with a jazz flavor.  This big band has been called "the best kept secret in Chattanooga".

Doors open at 7:15 pm with music beginning between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm in the Theatre Centre's main lobby.

The cost of admission is only $3; snack and cash bar are available.  UTC students receive a free soft drink with paid admission and a student ID.

NOTE: Special Valentines Day performance on Monday evening February 14--with dancing, hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar.
