The American Indian Outreach Program offers assistance to Native Americans
in the areas of homelessness, alcohol & drug problems, educational
enhancement, employment, housing, transportation, and provides a
culturally-sensitive NA-perspective in caseload management.
Mr Bender will speak on social services to Native Americans in Tennessee,
and will answer questions.
Albert Bender, BA, JD, is Director of the American Indian Outreach
Program, a federal-grant program administered by the Buffalo Valley
Treatment Center, is housed in the Buffalo Valley Treatment Center
Nashville office. Mr Bender was born in Tennessee, raised in Oklahoma, and
is a fullblood member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
