On September 1 I inadvertently posted a message to UTCSTAFF that was
intended for a specific individual (the opening "Baby" and closing "I love
you" alerted many readers to the nature of this mistake). In this email I
made an offhand but pejorative comment about Dr. Lyn Miles. Since the
comment was public, it is appropriate for my apology to be equally public.
I sincerely apologize to Dr. Miles for any distress that this
unintentionally distributed message may have caused.
