Knowing that this not be a popular e-mail, I would still like to request
that we have a special chat area established, this time for folks to
discuss the issue of the terrorist attacks and our feelings about an
appropriate response. While this may very well become the defining event of
our time, the State is paying a lot of money for us to read, respond and
delete messages over the University's business line.
