Dear Faculty Members (and the Staff Members who work with them),

I can appeciate that all of you are especially busy kicking off a new
semester, with new students and new classes. This is just to serve as a
reminder for all those who have been here for a while and as a heads up
to new faculty members: _Please Allow At Least 72 Hours Processing Time
For Your Reserves_. This is not Hogwarts Castle Library. It takes time
to do things.

Please notice that not only does it have a link for reserves, but also
for faculty authorization cards, and faculty and staff borrowing policies.

You are more than welcome to send us reserve item via campus mail, but
please use the PDF form that can be accessed through the web page and
not the older typed versions that may be cubbyholed around the university.

I thank you and I'm sure Madame Pince would thank you too. (Pretty good
references for someone who's never read any HP.)
