Dr. Gene Ezell has recently received two grants from the Tennessee
Department of Education.  A $48,000 grant enables him to continue directing
the Teacher Training Center, which trains school personnel to use effective
methods of educating their students about HIV-AIDS.  A second grant of
$9,600 secures Dr. Ezell's services as a program evaluator.  He will review
other HIV/AIDS education projects funded by the state Department of
Education to assess their effectiveness and to assure that they comply with
Department policies.

The Tennessee Department of Education demonstrates the value it places upon
Dr. Ezell's work by continuing to fund his Teacher Training Center and by
asking him to evaluate other projects in the state.  Please join the Office
