October 7, 2006 – National Solar Tour. The Sequatchie Valley Institute
is sponsoring the Southeast Tennessee tour for the 10th year. Solar
powered and energy efficient homes and buildings in our region and
throughout the nation will be open for public tours. Find out how your
neighbors are trimming their energy bills and increasing their energy
security. Learn about energy efficiency, speak with homeowners and
experts and learn how solar technology works, what it costs and why it
makes sense. Sequatchie Valley Institute will be open for tours. We
will post the other regional homes and businesses that will be open
soon. If you can’t attend the local tour, find one near you by visiting
www.NationalSolarTour.org
If you own or know of anyone who owns a solar home and would be
interested in being part of the tour, please contact Carol.
