Dear Colleagues,
      Just a reminder that the second of three Mission Statement Review
sessions will be held
tomorrow (Sept. 26) at 3 p.m. in Fletcher Hall Room 100.

      At that meeting the following Chairs of Excellence will share with us
their observations
about the University's mission statement:

      Dr. Mark Mendenhall
      Dr. Irven Resnick
      Dr. David Sachsman

     Mr. Kino Becton, SGA President; Ms. Julia Cronin, Employee Relations
Committee Chair; and
Mr. Charles Pierce, UTC Alumni Council President, will respond to the
Chairs' comments.

    Your participation in this meeting will be appreciated as together we
develop a consensus
as to what UTC needs to do and and continue becoming this decade and beyond.

   The third presentation by Chairs Tucker, Wheetley and Whittle will be
held on Tuesday, October 2,
at 3 p.m. in the Signal Mountain Room of the University Center. The Mission

Dr. Rich Becherer,
Dr. Ron Cox and Dr. Will McClay and to provide them with your observations
and comments by
