I'm sure that this has crossed the minds of every parent that works here at UTC with a child that goes to Brown Academy. When is the construction going to end?! Every school day I drive my child to school in terror because of the insane congestion from the construction worker's cars near the school and the student's cars. Twice this morning an insane driver missed my car by millimeters, by driving up on the curb because there is almost no two way traffic due to the congestion. It would be appreciated if the school would give the kids a 3 min grace period to make it to assembly or clear out these areas somehow. It's dangerous. Someone is going to have a car accident or worse a child/student is going to get hurt just trying to make it to class by walking on the sidewalk. This is not necessarily a rant it's a plea for some sort of solution.
