Greetings,
I was informed that some music was behind the organ pipes in Patten Chapel
so I went to look. When I got there I found what appears to be the old
University of Chattanooga Choral Music Library. There was a good bit of
water damage due to the roof leak but it contained many wonderful pieces
and as I was bringing them back to Cadek Hall last night I discovered in
the middle of them, a 78 rpm record of the March 30, 1938 University of
Chattanooga Orpheus Club. The library does not have a player nor do
I. Does anyone have an old record player that will play 78 rpm
recordings? Would you be willing to loan it to me so that I can transfer
the recording to CD?
Thank you,
Kevin Ford
