Colleagues, all:
I am pleased to announce that this year, we had a "bumper crop" of current
and recent graduates accepted into some major graduate programs for pursuit
of the MFA degree. Seven (of eight) students were accepted into these very
competitive programs, with a few of the seven having more than one school
from which to choose. The MFA programs are as follows:
* Cranbrook Academy of Art (in Bloomfield Hills, MI)
* The Art Institute of Chicago
* University of Chapel Hill
* University of Cincinnati
* University of Iowa
* University of North Carolina at Greenville
* University of the Arts (formerly Philadelphia College of Art)
* Parsons (NY) Furniture Institute in Washington D.C.
* Virginia Commonwealth University
We are pleased with this record of academic success for our BFA graduates
this particular year, and I hope you will join me in wishing them well in
their continuing studies.
Thanks!
