LIBRARY OFFERS NEW, ENHANCED DATABASES

 

As part of its ongoing Serials Redesign Project
<http://www.lib.utc.edu/serials> , the UTC Lupton Library has added or
enhanced several article databases.  

 

These databases may be accessed by clicking on the "Search our Databases"
link from the Library's home page, or by going to
http://www.lib.utc.edu/databases.  A list of new and/or enhanced database
titles, listed by subject follows:

 

CHEMISTRY

Full text access to the majority of journals published by the American
Chemical Society.

 

EDUCATION

Provides citations and abstracts to journal and report literature in
education and related fields.  Now also includes full text access to most

Provides full text articles from IEEE's journals, magazines, and
transactions from 1998 to present and indexing of other publications back to
1950.  Includes citations to the literature (journals, standards, conference
proceedings, transactions, etc.) of IEEE Society, covering electrical
engineering and computer science.  

 

ASCE  <http://www.pubs.asce.org/cedbsrch.html> Civil Engineering Database
*NEW*

1970 - present. Provides citations and abstracts to the literature
(journals, standards, conference proceedings, manuals, etc.) of American
Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), covering all aspects of civil
engineering.

 

GEOGRAPHY (Earth Sciences)

1985 - present.  Provides citations to journal articles, books, maps, etc.
for all aspects of geography, including biogeography, human, physical,
economic, and political geography and climatology.  GeoBib is the cumulative
index for Current Geographical Publications (CGP).

 

GEOLOGY (Earth Sciences)
