Please announce:
In honor of National Coming Out Day, Psychologist, Dr. Sam Bernard, will
speak on the issues facing lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals in
today's society, at noon this Wednesday, October 9th, in Holt 303.  He will
also speak about his work in New York with the gay and lesbian community
after the events of  September 11, 2001.

National Coming Out Day was founded on October 11, 1988 to celebrate the
first anniversary of the 1987 March on Washington. It has been celebrated
annually on October 11th ever since with events held in cities throughout
the country.

UTC's Spectrum student group has organized this event.
