TODAY's WorldFest Events (presented by UTC's International Student Organization):

 

If you or your students missed Jet Li's Hero yesterday, you have two more chances (11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.)  to see the movie today in the University Center Auditorium.  Today's WorldFest lunch menu celebrates Asia & the South Pacific and can be purchased in the University Center dining hall (from the HomeZone kiosk) from 11:00-3:00.   Stop by the UC lobby from 11:30-1:30 and look at the cultural tables set up by UTC international students.

*	TUESDAY, April 3, 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.- International Movie, Hero, (China)- Rated PG-13, University Center Auditorium (Room 206) 

This critically acclaimed movie stars Jet Li.  The movie revolves around a series of flashbacks that shape the story of how one man defeated three assassins who sought to murder the most powerful warlord in pre-unified China.   The San Francisco Chronicle said, "The martial-arts movie 'Hero' kicks butt, but it's also beautiful." The Chicago Tribune called it "swooningly beautiful, furious and thrilling."  This event is co-sponsored by ACE.
