19, 2001.  The registration deadline is May 10.

The Ins and Outs of Problem-based Learning
What is it?  What would it take to implement it?  Why would I want to
implement it?

Join us as we welcome Kristi Arndt, Director of The Center for
Problem-Based Learning to lead us in sessions designed to help faculty
explore problem-based learning in the classroom.

The retreat begins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, May 17, 2001 and
concludes at noon on May 19.  There is no charge for registration, lodging
or meals, but you must provide your own transportation to and from Watts
Bar (about an hour from the UTC campus).  If you have questions or need
