On Friday, May 24, from between 1 and 3 p.m., there will be a free panel
discussion at the Downtown Marriott for social service provides, nonprofit
associations, lawyers, housing counselors, educators, and anyone interested in
housing issues, problems, and solutions in the Chattanooga area.

Carol Gish, an attorney with West Tennessee Legal Services, will serve as
moderator. Ms. Gish is a nationally recognized expert in fair housing law.
Panelists will include Marcia Lillich, Executive Director of the Community
Housing Resource Board and the Housing Info Line; Nita Terry, a housing
counselor with Chattanooga Cares; and Scott Lindsey with the City of
Chattanooga.

Although many housing topics will be discussed, special emphasis will be
placed on the problems of those with disabilities, including persons with
HIV/AIDS. Again, admission is free.

This event is sponsored by Legal Aid of East Tennessee, Inc., The Tennessee
Bar Association and HUD.

As stated in an earlier message, the following day, Saturday, May 25, from 9
a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a free Housing Law Clinic for Tennesseans at the
Miller Plaza Pavilion to address the specific legal problems of individuals.
