Save the date for a very special event in North Chattanooga...
You don't want to miss the first annual Normal-Palooza arts and music festival, to be held on Saturday, October 23 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in North Chattanooga. The event will include live music with Uncle Lightnin', Lumbar Five, Charles Allison, Ringgold Gap Band and Mesa Rio. Get a start on your holiday shopping with over 30 booths offering everything from handmade greeting cards to painted furniture and hand-blown glass works. Check out Sushi Nabe, Museum Dogs and the Children's Creative Corner for great food, hands-on activities and more family fun!
Normal-Palooza benefits Normal Park Museum Magnet, a Hamilton county public elementary school that partners with 7 local museums to create a fresh, dynamic approach to learning. Special thanks to Chattem and Pearls Folk Art Gallery for sponsoring the festival.
Normal-Palooza will take place on the grounds of Normal Park Museum Magnet at 1009 Mississippi Avenue and along the stretch of Mississippi Avenue that runs from Thomas to Garnett Streets. The festival is free and open to the public. We hope you'll join us for this exciting partnership between education, the arts, local neighbors and the larger Chattanooga community!
